I purchased this item for my adult son who was having problems with bed bugs. He couldn't sleep in his bed without waking with many itchy bites. After exterior his mattress and box spring this goods the first night, he didn't have any problems with sleeping or being bitten. It's been a few weeks now and so far, so good!
